湘潭市巨能绝缘材料有限公司成立于2009年，为苏州巨峰电气绝缘系统股份有限公司全资子公司。苏州巨峰电气绝缘系统股份有限公司是国内唯一一家电气绝缘系统研发和制造的“新三板”上市公司，为“国家重点高新技术企业”。巨能公司位于湘潭市高新区双马工业园。现有员工90人，占地面积30000㎡，厂房建筑面积4000㎡，拥有生产设备50余台，检测设备齐全。主要产品有多胶、中胶、少胶系列云母带，玻璃坯布、绝缘上胶纸、风电汇流环、及各种绝缘产品加工件， 经营产品类别有绝缘漆， 绝缘浸渍树脂， 柔软复合材料，高低组带， 玻璃漆布等产品。公司实施以ERP管理为重点的信息化、网络化管理，现场生产管理以“5S”标准为准则，稳步提高企业的科学管理水平，努力将公司打造为一个技术领先、品质过硬、管理先进且建树行业标杆的电气绝缘系统制造企业。主要产品已大量使用在湘电风能发电设备和大型电机上，是国有大型企业湘潭电机集团战略合作伙伴单位，2006年成为湘电电机事业部合格供方以来，年年被评为“优秀供应商”。
