COAT EXPO 2009 has become the industry s premier event in South China. Due to the two years preparation and
complied with SF EXPO and Chinaplas, over 25,000 visitors arrived during May 18-20, of which overseas
visitors took up 25% and visitors of COAT EXPO arrived about 12,530.
1. The representative companies in finished products, raw materials and equipments had showcase at COAT EXPO.

2.Visitors number and quality achieved a new level and COAT EXPO is
towarding internalization markedly
During three days exhibition, there were over 25,000 visitors, of which overseas visitors took up 25% and the
decision makers took up 70%. Compared with other coatings shows in China, COAT EXPO 2009 is the first one
that attracted so many visitors. Those first shall be credited to the effort of the organizers. It was the first session
after COAT EXPO was re-scheduled as a biennial event from a annual one, so, the organizing committee had
enough time to promote event and organize visitors. Second, COAT EXPO could take advantages of Chinaplas,
the first plastic show in Asia and with 140 thousand show area, and SF EXPO organized also by Wise Exhibition
and complied with scores of concurrent events, the three events can share the visitors each other.
3.Scores of companying events and high lever services, COAT EXPO is recognized as the industry well-know event
Scores of companying events arranged during COAT EXPO, including the 20th Anniversary of Guangdong
Coating Industry Association, Guangdong Coating Industry General Assembly 2009, Networking of Coating
Associations and kinds of technical seminars attracted a great many professionals. The considerable services for
move-in, exhibition and move-out, visitor sreception and VIP had shown the internationalization of exhibition
services as well as exhibitors and professional visitors. In one word, COAT EXPO has gone forward to the
industry's well know event characterized specialization and internationalization.
4.COAT EXPO, the biennial event, to be launched again in Guangzhou in 2011
The 9th Guangzhou International Coatings, Inks and Adhesives Exhibition is scheduled on May, 2011. Currently,
propaganda of COAT EXPO, including cooperation with media and associations, has already been carried out.
The organizing committee will pay more attention to professional visitors' organization and technical seminars,
and will continually make effort to ensure COAT EXPO to be the high class event in the industry in China.
The 8th Guangzhou International Coatings, Inks, Adhesives Exhibition (COAT EXPO 2009) gained great
support from domestic and overseas visitors. The
basic statistics as follows:
1. Over 200 exhibitors
2. 3,824 overseas visitors and 15,299 domestic visitors, i.e. total 19,123 visitors, 6,380 of them had a two/ three days visit,
thus, the total arrivals reached 25,503
3. Over 1,000 persons had joined technical seminars
4. Visitors from Countries/Regions: Asia Pacific 1,948 Africa 49 European 392 America 159 China 15,299
5. During the 3 days' exhibition, we had randomly interviewed 761 visitors. Here are some findings collected from our surveys:
