SF EXPO China2009 Opens in May

The organizing committee did in-depth investigation and made promotion for SF EXPO 2011 in the SF CHINA
2009 during Nov 18-20, 2009. At the three-day exhibition, about 30,000 exhibition tickets have been handed out.
During the period of the exhibition, the General Secretary of China Surface Finishing Engineering Association
Mr. Ma Jie, the Vice General Secretary of China Surface Finishing Engineering Association Electroplating Branch
Ms. Sun Changlan, the General Manager of Wise Exhibition Mr. Zhang Zhi and the other members of organizing
committee paid visits to many exhibiting companies, associations and Media.
As for associations, the organizing committee met Taiwan Surface Finishing Association first, by talking with the
General-Secretary Ms. Wu Wenlan to confirm the intercommunion between two associations and cooperation on
SF EXPO 2011. Meanwhile, the committee exchanged opinions with the President of the German Surface
Treatment Technology Association Mr. Herbert Baunach on China market and policies, etc. Mr. Ma Jie and Mr.
Zhang Zhi invited German Surface Treatment Technology to join SF EXPO. Mr. Baunach said he would take
China market and SF EXPO into serious consideration and wished friendly cooperation on SF EXPO 2011. The
committee also had in-depth talk with chairman of Korea Plating Industry Cooperative Mr. Yu Xianglie. Mr. Yu
promised to keep supporting SF EXPO 2011.
As for the exhibiting companies and media, the committee visited many renowned international companies such
as Atotech, Surtec, Norilsk, Nordson and some professional media, talking about their company situation,
collecting the opinions towards the current economic trends, as well as seeking advices on the development of SF
EXPO.
The exhibitors gave positive opinions on SF EXPO 2009 and appreciated the decision of holding exhibition
biennially, since it would not only have deeper and wider promotion for the exhibition, but also help exhibitors to
reduce the cost from over attendances in the shows while less effect.
Mr. Ma Jie and Mr. Zhang Zhi promised to make good arrangement of concurrent events, promotional activities
and exhibition services, with the purpose to boost up the show to be more international and specialized.
