Promotion for COAT EXPO 2011 in Shanghai

The organizing committee made promotion for COAT EXPO 2011 in the industry exhibition which was held during Nov
18-20, 2009. With three-day time, the committee had handed out about 30,000 tickets and invitation letter during the
exhibition.
At the exhibition, the General Manager of Wise Exhibition Mr. Zhang, together with the International Marketing and
Business Development Executive Becky Huang and other marketing colleagues met the persons from associations and
Media, and visited 500 exhibitors, talking about the cooperation details for the coming event.
As to associations, the organizing committee met the presidents of overseas associations such as Korea Paint & Printing
Ink Industry (KPIC), Thai Paint Manufacturers Association (TPMA), Philippine Association of Paint Manufacturers
(PAPM), and had deep talk with them about the cooperation on COAT EXPO 2011. Meanwhile, the committee invited
them to attend the Forum on Asian Coating Industry Development, the concurrent activity held in COAT EXPO 2011.
Regarding the coating companies, the committee visited many famous international enterprises such as BASF, BAYER,
EVONIK DEGUSSA, BYK, AKZO NOBEL etc. as well as the leading Chinese companies such as Dongjia, Sanmu and
Zuxing etc. at the show, talking with them about their company situation and the opinion towards current economic
trends, as well as their suggestion on the development of COAT EXPO.
In terms of Media and other cooperation partner, the committee re-met the industry magazine The Paint and Finishing
News and Chemicaldaily from Japan, exchanging the ideas on deepening the relationship of business partners. After
that, the committee visited Chemidex, both parties agreed to continue next round cooperation. Moreover, the general
manager of Wise Exhibition had made general agreement with the manager of the Korean agent JH International on the
promotion of COAT EXPO 2011, which will enlarge the impact of the show abroad.
The exhibitors gave positive opinion on COAT EXPO 2009 which was held in May in Guangzhou, and favored the
decision of holding biennial exhibition, because it will has deeper and wider promotion on the exhibition. Besides,
biennial show will not only enlarge the exhibition scale, but also help to reduce the cost from frequently attending the
show while less effect.
The organizing committee promise to make good arrangement of concurrent events and promotional activities with the
purpose to boost up the show to be more international and specialized.
